So this morning i had a few nice surprises. Had snow leopard delivered and duly installed (run’s lovely btw) and straight after two boxes – one large and one small from cradlepoint. This was the kickstart i needed this morning to make me get the drafts i have been working on no1 on the list to get up on the site.

Although i have a number of guest bloggers on the site a number of them have only written one post and i’m thinking how i can motivate more people to post stories about using technology in the field. Of course i need to be posting more regular to bring people back to the site but i have also decided to do some some short clips on blip.tv and replace the frontend picture with a video player detailing some of the current kit we have going into the ammobox.

I’ll be doing a little video about the cradlepoint kit later on today – i’m currently sitting in a cybercafe thinking of radical ideas regarding powering them all up at once and having multiple channels for different services. the mind wanders – certainly going to have a live chat session with some techy geeks about things we can do with them. Should make for an interesting chat session.

Need your ideas for what we could with 10 seperate wifi hotspots. Yes, we can put into seperate boxes and send out to seperate events/destinations etc but just for a one off was wondering what we could build as a cluster - need your best ideas for maybe some kind of hotspot cluster - maybe breaking up traffic to different networks for different sites. maybe have a twitter backup grid for a venue so people can tweet? - maybe we make some kind of mega redudant mobile network fall over? - best ideas geeks please!
